Plant water loss changes throughout the day with temperature, humidity, wind, solar energy, and rainfall. Different plants respond to the same atmosphere in different ways. A tomato and a rosemary plant should not be treated as though they have identical water-use patterns.

Terra combines local weather, evapotranspiration modeling, and plant-specific profiles to estimate how much water outdoor plants lose to the atmosphere. Track modeled water reserve, explore how it may change over the next five days, and use the forecast as added context before deciding when to water.
