विष्णु पुराण (Vishnu Puran) हिंदू धर्म के 18 महापुराणों में से एक अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण और प्राचीन ग्रंथ है, जिसे पराशर ऋषि द्वारा रचित माना जाता है। यह पुराण भगवान विष्णु को समर्पित है, जो सृष्टि के पालनकर्ता हैं। इसमें विष्णु जी के अवतारों, उनकी लीलाओं, सृष्टि की उत्पत्ति, और धर्म-ज्ञान का विस्तार से वर्णन है।

विष्णु पुराण मुख्य रूप से छह अंशों (Parts / Sections) में विभाजित है, जिसमें लगभग 126 से अधिक अध्याय शामिल हैं।
१. प्रथम अंश (सृष्टि)
२. द्वितीय अंश (खगोल और भूगोल)
३. तृतीय अंश (धर्म और वेद)
४. चतुर्थ अंश (वंश वर्णन)
५. पंचम अंश (कृष्ण चरित्र)
६. षष्ठ अंश (प्रलय और मोक्ष)

The Vishnu Purana is one of the 18 Mahapuranas (great Puranas) of Hinduism, and is believed to have been composed by Sage Parashara. This Purana is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the universe. It describes in detail the incarnations of Vishnu, his divine acts, the origin of the universe, and religious knowledge.

Vishnu Purana is mainly divided into six parts/sections, which contain more than 126 chapters.

3. Third Part (Dharma and Vedas)
4. Fourth Part (Genealogical Description)
5. Fifth Part (Krishna Character)
