App Description

Karaoke, but for your instrument.

KaroKowe Jam turns songs into backing tracks you can step into. Every song in the catalog is separated into stems - vocals, drums, bass, and more - and each stem sits on its own knob. Turn your instrument down to zero and the band keeps playing. You bring the missing part.

THE MIXER

- One knob per stem. Mix the band around the way you practice.
- Mute the part you play - bass players drop the bass, drummers drop the drums.
- Simple transport: play, pause, and go again.

THE CATALOG

- Browse songs that are ready to play, split into stems.
- Search, favorites, top voted, and discovery feeds.
- The community decides what gets split next: vote a song past the quorum and it becomes a backing track for everyone.

RECORD YOUR TAKE

- Record yourself playing over the mix.
- Takes stay on the track, ready to replay and compare.

MEET ROADIE

Roadie is the in-app practice assistant for bass and drums - techniques, song suggestions, practice routines. Roadie runs on-device: your conversations never leave your iPhone or iPad.

SEMITONES

Semitones are the in-app currency. You earn them by taking part and spend them on extras like additional stem controls and recording. Top-ups are available but optional.

ON iPHONE AND iPAD

- Practice anywhere - the mixer works great with headphones.
- USB-C and Lightning audio interfaces supported for playing along.
- The same account and catalog as KaroKowe Jam on Mac.

KaroKowe Jam is part of the KaroKowe family from the SplitFire AI suite: Karaoke KaroKowe removes the vocal so you can sing. KaroKowe Jam removes your instrument so you can play.
