• Smile: a genuine smile at the camera (and, if you like, a kind word said aloud)
• Breathe: a few slow breaths on a calm blue screen. Silent, so it works in public.
• Honesty: say the honest sentence out loud before the app opens.

Everything stays on your device. Your face and voice are processed on-device, in the moment, and never stored or sent anywhere. Smile has no account, no ads, no tracking, and makes no network requests. Apple's Screen Time framework means Smile never even learns which apps you chose.
