Filmode is a film camera and color-grading app for iPhone and iPad. Shoot with the look baked in, load a roll and wait for it to develop, or grade the photos you already have with LUTs.

MADE FOR
Anyone who would rather pick the color before the shutter than edit after: everyday shooters, analog and film-look fans, and people who shoot a lot and edit little.

LIVE FILM CAMERA
Compose with the final look, applied the moment you press the shutter. Ten film-camera bodies with flash, timer, zoom and 4:3 framing: Half Frame, Toy and Instant are free; Disposable, Compact, Pocket Classic, Film SLR, Instant Square, Y2K Digicam and Street B&W come with Pro. Record video with the same look. On iPhone 16 and later, Camera Control shoots on a full press; a light press adjusts zoom, exposure, lens, look and strength.

FILM ROLL
Load a 12-frame roll and shoot without looking. Finish it, let it develop, and the whole contact sheet opens at once. Develop now, wait for the weekend, or let Surprise pick a secret day within two weeks. Pro adds 24 and 36-frame rolls.

SHARED ROLL
Host a roll and hand out a QR code. Guests shoot on their own iPhone with no install and no account, and every photo reveals at the same moment. Free for 5 guests with 6 frames each; Pro hosts up to 50 guests with 36 frames. Great for weddings, trips and parties.

PHOTO BOOTH
Four shots on a three-second timer, laid out as a strip with the date. The Classic strip saves for free; Film Strip and Instant papers preview for everyone and need Pro to save.

FILM LOOKS & TRENDING LOOKS
Basic, Cinematic, Film and Selfie collections, plus Camera Styles built from phone-camera color: natural, vivid, warm, cool, portrait, travel, night and editorial. Every look previews on your own photo; import your own .cube and .xmp files too. Pro unlocks the trending looks, refreshed every season.

DATE STAMPS
The orange date in the corner, the way a 90s point-and-shoot printed it. Film Date and Half Frame are free; Pro adds Gold, Quartz, Data Back and Disposable.

MATCH PHOTO
Pick a reference image and preview its color on your photo, with strength and hold-to-compare. Auto Balance takes the cast out of your photo first. Pro turns the match into a reusable look, exports it as a LUT, or matches up to 20 photos to the same reference.

A RAW shot keeps its look beside the negative instead of baking it in. Reopen it later to
