48-Hour Rule locks every "want" behind a 48-hour cooldown. Add something you're tempted to buy, and the app won't let you pull the trigger until two full days have passed — giving your impulse time to fade and your judgment time to catch up.
REALITY CHECK, NOT JUST A TIMER
Before you decide, see exactly what the purchase costs in terms that actually matter: what percentage of your monthly income it eats up, how many hours of work it represents, and — if you're tempted to put it on a credit card — how much extra you'd pay in interest.
CHECK IN WITH YOURSELF
While the clock runs, the app gently checks in and asks how much you still want it, on a scale of 1 to 10. Often, the answer changes.
