App Description
Backflow Test Fieldbook is an independent offline field notebook for Washington State Backflow Assembly Testers (BATs), self-employed testers, and anyone keeping backflow assembly records. Capture a test once, produce a customer or water-purveyor PDF, keep assembly history, and remember the next annual visit — all on the iPhone or iPad you already carry into the mechanical room.
BUILT FOR WASHINGTON
It follows the Washington minimum report-content requirements (WAC 246-292-036) and the Department of Health sample field-test report. It produces a field record, not an agency form — you always check your water purveyor's own form and submission rules.
CAPTURE EACH TEST
• DCVA, DCDA, RPBA, RPDA, PVBA, SVBA, AVB inspection, air gap, and Other assemblies
• Enter exactly what the gauge showed; you choose Passed or Failed by the procedure you used — the app never decides the result for you
• Separate initial and after-repair runs, with maintenance and parts
• Every reading kept to the decimal you typed, never rounded
FINISH ON SITE
• A six-step workflow with autosave and a missing-field check
• Finalize to an immutable, hash-verified record
• Share a clean US-Letter PDF; track owner and water-purveyor delivery separately
REUSE AND REMEMBER
• Reuse a site and assembly next visit — identity copies over, readings never do
• Searchable local history with revisions and amendments
• A due calendar with reminders 30 days before each agreed date, plus test-kit and renewal warnings
PRIVATE AND OFFLINE
• Every record is encrypted on your device
• No account, no cloud, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking
• Works completely offline in the field
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
It does not teach a test procedure, decide the result, look up assembly approvals, or submit to any authority. You remain responsible for your water purveyor's form, timing, and submission rules.
OPEN TO INDEPENDENT USERS
Download and start using the notebook without an account, invitation, employer approval, or company affiliation. Tester and test-kit details are entered locally for your reports. No organization enrolls or approves users, and no customer contract or external service is needed. The reporting scope is Washington State; you remain responsible for the qualifications required to perform testing.
