Most family locator apps route your every move through servers they own. Several have been caught selling that data or leaking it in breaches. HavenMap is built the opposite way. Your location is encrypted on your phone with your family's own keys, delivered through Apple's push network as unreadable ciphertext, and decrypted only on the phones of the people you invited. Our relay just forwards the sealed data and forgets it. There is no database of where you've been — nothing to hack, sell, or subpoena. We could not see your location if we tried.
