Write a question such as “What is 250 US dollars in Norwegian kroner?” On supported iOS 26 devices with Apple Intelligence, Apple’s on-device Foundation Models framework extracts the amount and currencies. On other devices, a private local rules engine recognizes common currency names and ISO codes.
