App Description

EM Critérios Pro is a professional query and reference tool for the criteria of McDonald 2024, published in 2025. Essential content works offline, without login, cloud or continuous connection required.

The application helps organize already documented information and shows, in an explainable way, which criteria elements are present, which remain unreported and which alternatives could still complete the criteria evaluation.

KEY FEATURES

• Structured query to the criteria of McDonald 2024.

• Flow guided by clinical presentation, topographies and complementary elements.

• Organization of the five anatomical locations recognized in the current criteria.

• Clear table with the elements that could still complete the criteria.

• Explanation of what can be considered LCR positive, including oligoclonal bands specific to LCR and validated κFLC index.

• Explainable highlighting for course descriptors compatible with recorded data.

• Separate states for confirmed, not demonstrated, not reported, unavailable and not indicated.

• Library of original sources, content version and revision date.

• Cases identified by code and stored only on the device.

PRIVACY AND OFFLINE USE

The cases remain on the device. The app does not require registration, has no analytics and does not send clinical data to servers. External links to scientific sources are optional.

IMPORTANT LIMITS

EM Critérios Pro does not provide a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. Completing a matrix of criteria does not replace clinical history, neurological examination, review of images, exclusion of alternative diagnoses or confirmation by a neurologist. The app is a professional consultation tool and should be used with independent clinical judgment.
