App Description

Learn origami properly — one fold at a time, in 3D

Paper diagrams ask you to work out what a dotted line means and which layer
moves. Origami 3D shows you. Every fold happens on a real sheet you can turn
around, watch again, and take apart.

A COURSE, NOT A PILE OF MODELS

Seven modules, 55 lessons, each teaching a single idea and ending with
something you can keep:

• First folds — getting a square from any paper, and the only two folds that
exist: valley and mountain. Samurai hat, glider, popper.
• Reading a fold — which layer moves, and which way the paper turns over.
Cat face, dog face, house, bookmark, piano, owl, panda.
• Landing on a mark — folding an edge onto a line instead of near it. Kite
base, fox face, cup, penguin, sailboat, shirt, rocket, dress, Santa.
• Corners to the centre — symmetry, and landing four points on one spot.
Blintz base, heart, pinwheel, fortune teller, envelope, masu box, lotus.
• The collapse — precreasing, then letting several creases move at once.
Waterbomb base, balloon, butterfly, jumping frog, tulip, boat.
• The crane — the preliminary base, the bird base, and the model everyone
means when they say origami. Plus the flapping bird.
• Points from an edge — the fish base, the rabbit ear and the reverse fold.
Fish, whale, swan, phone stand.

That is 6 bases, 2 techniques and 47 models, each lesson 2 to 12 minutes. All
traditional origami — folds passed along for generations, not someone's
copyrighted design.

A VIEWER THAT ACTUALLY SHOWS THE FOLD

• Rotate and zoom the paper — see the fold from any angle
• Step through fold by fold, or scrub back to watch one again
• Split the layers to see exactly what is sitting on top of what
• Slow it down when a move happens too fast to follow
• Flip the model to see the fold from the other side
• Left-handed mode, so the paper turns the way your hands do
• Plain-language notes on every step, with a "watch this" line for the part
people get wrong

WORKS COMPLETELY OFFLINE

The 3D engine and every model are built into the app. No downloads after
install, nothing to load. Fold on a plane, a train, or with no signal at all.

NO ACCOUNT, NO SIGN-UP

You open the app and start folding. No login, no email, no profile. Your
progress is stored on your own device, and only there.
