Tessera: Colour Block Puzzle

Fill the grid. TESSERA is an endless colour block-fitting puzzle — drag shapes onto a 12x12 board, clear full rows and columns, and see how far you can push your score before the board finally beats you.

Every game is different. Your three shapes are drawn fresh each time and get genuinely harder to place the further you get — there's no level pack to work through, just an ever-tougher draw and a high score to chase.

HOW IT WORKS
• Drag one of your three shapes onto the board. It floats above your finger as you drag, so you always see exactly where it'll land before you drop it.
• Fill an entire row or column and it clears, scoring points. Fill one using only one colour and it scores double — worth holding out for.
• Clear more than one line in a single move, or clear on consecutive placements, and your score multiplier climbs.
• Your hand gets tougher to place as your score rises — no fixed level cap, just an ever-harder draw, all the way to the end.
• Stuck? Spend shards on a Bomb (clear any one block) or a Shuffle (swap your whole hand).
• Board full? Watch a short ad or spend shards to clear some space and keep the same game going, once per game.

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
Most block-fitting games treat colour as decoration. In Tessera it's the whole extra layer — clearing a line in a single colour is worth twice as much, so every placement is a real choice between "clear now" and "hold out for the better clear." And the difficulty ramp is genuinely adaptive: your shapes are drawn based on how hard they'll actually be to place on your current board, not a fixed schedule.

Tessera is free to play, supported by ads. A single one-time purchase removes them for good, and optional shard packs let you skip the grind if you'd like to.
