App Description
Adblocker Zero removes ads and trackers from Safari. No account, no setup, nothing to configure — turn it on once and pages immediately load cleaner, faster and more private.
EASY TO TURN ON
A friendly welcome screen walks you through enabling the extension in Safari and confirms when everything is working — you're done in about a minute.
WHAT IT BLOCKS
• Banner ads, pop-ups, sticky overlays and sponsored clutter
• Ad and tracker requests — stopped before they ever load
• Trackers that follow you from site to site
• Includes defenses against anti-adblock scripts
WHY ADBLOCKER ZERO
• Truly lightweight: blocking runs on Safari's built-in engine, so there is no heavy background process slowing you down
• Private by design: no account, no telemetry, no data collection — your browsing history never leaves your device
• Free and open source (MIT license)
• Available in 52 languages
EVERYDAY CONTROLS
• One switch to pause blocking everywhere
• A per-site switch to trust sites you want to support
• Filter lists stay up to date automatically
FOR POWER USERS
• "My filters": add your own rules in EasyList-compatible syntax
• Manage your trusted-sites list
• Built on proven, community-maintained filter lists: EasyList, EasyPrivacy, Peter Lowe's list and more
PERMISSIONS, EXPLAINED
Safari will warn that the extension can "read and alter webpages" — that's Apple's standard wording, shown for every ad blocker. Adblocker Zero uses that access for exactly one thing: blocking ad and tracker requests and hiding ad elements on the page. It collects nothing and sends nothing; the only network requests it makes are the downloads of the public filter lists.
Works on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
