App Description
Free every night, no sign-up, and one case you can finish in a sitting. Open the app and the file is already on the desk: a theft, a handful of suspects, and clues that prove exactly one answer.
No lives. No energy meter. No trivia, no hidden objects, no lucky guesses. Just you, a case file, and a clock.
ONE CASE, THE WHOLE WORLD, TONIGHT
A new file opens each evening and everybody works it at once - one culprit, one set of clues, one shared deadline. Crack it before bed, compare times over breakfast.
EXACTLY ONE ANSWER, PROVEN BEFORE IT SHIPS
Every case is checked by a solver that replays each clue, eliminates everyone it can, and confirms that one and only one answer survives. Not "probably one" - exactly one. A case with two possible culprits, or a clue that ruled out nothing, never made it into the app. So you never lose to a coin flip: read carefully and you can know you are right before you tap.
THE CLOCK IS THE SCORE
Your solve time is the only number on the board. A wrong accusation costs +15 seconds, not a life - you are never locked out and never sent back to the start, just slowed down. Which means working through the suspects by brute force is the slowest way to play, not the cleverest.
- One fresh case every night, the same one worldwide
- Solve nightly to build a streak; miss a night and it starts over
- Duel a friend on the same bonus case, fastest deduction wins
- See where tonight's time landed against everyone else who played
- Share your result in one tap, with nothing spoiled for anyone
- No account, no sign-up, and the case files ship inside the app, so tonight's puzzle solves fine with no signal
560 CASES, FOUR RATINGS
One star asks who took it. Two and three ask who and how. Four adds when, and the timeline clues have to be read in order. Tonight's file is always three or four stars. The rest wait in Browse, filtered by rating, by whether you have cracked them yet, or by place: a vineyard, an aquarium, a travelling circus, a chocolate works, a community radio station.
COZY, NOT GORY
No bodies, no blood, no jump scares. The crimes here are thefts of things people actually care about: a storm glass from the marina, the prop crown from the theatre, the first teddy prototype from the toy museum. Warm paper case files under a night sky.
STUCK? THAT IS ALLOWED
Hints scale with the case, and each one quietly rules out a single wrong l
