Your location is used while you have the app open: to place a mur where you wrote it, and to show what is around you. The position saved with a mur is shifted on your device by up to the distance you choose when posting (0–100m, 50m to start) before it is sent.

A mark is a named point that does not disappear. Use it for a shop, a stall on a certain day, a class you run. You have to be there to place one.

■ On safety
Every post is checked by an automated filter before it appears on the map. Photos are checked automatically before others see them; borderline ones are shown and then reviewed by a person. You can report any post or block its author from the post itself. A person reviews every report within 24 hours. Posts that break the Terms of Use are removed, and the device that posted them can no longer post.
