silt is an iPhone camera and photo editor for deep cinematic tones, dense color, grain and expressive light, with the artistic sensibility of Korean artist SHHAN.
silt Engine
On-device analysis of faces, subjects and relative depth guides the treatment of light and form. COLOR and MONO shape tone, color, grain and bloom. INK and SIGNAL explore ink, print, pixels and signal textures. The app does not generate a new scene or face.

Level 0 is the signature treatment. Move left for a softer result or right for maximum expression. Choose TONE patterns, PRESS ink colors and shared color/mono modes for SIGNAL.
From capture to the final frame
Tap + to choose Camera, Album or Files. Hold + to open Quick Capture. Tap the preview to adjust focus and exposure, then use the shutter below to save a photo to the current slot. Supported devices offer flash and continuous light. Refine composition with ratios, free crop, rotation and straightening. Use linear, radial or AI subject focus. In Multi focus, adjust blur independently at three points on the photo, with smooth transitions between their areas.
Vignette and local darkening
Open the Vignette tab beside Focus to softly darken the area outside your chosen region. Use a radial, linear or AI subject shape and adjust darkening, range and softness. Editing settings stay with the original photo.
Keep the original
Keep originals for later editing and save finished images to Photos. Touch and hold in the photo viewer to see the original; release to return to the filtered image. Saved crop and rotation stay aligned for comparison. Comparison is unavailable for older photos without a stored original.
Organize photos in slots, and select several photos to move or delete together. Use the slot menu to save all its photos to Photos and track progress. Empty Slot requires a typed confirmation and keeps the slot and purchase history. Photo analysis and filter processing happen on your iPhone; photos are not sent to an external AI server. You can also bundle a slot’s edited photos into a ZIP at their saved quality and save it to a folder in Files.
