App Description

MTG Probability is the ultimate probability calculator for card-drawing probabilities. It's primarily designed for Magic: The Gathering but works perfectly for other card games, too.

- Simple and Quick: Just specify the numbers and you get the probability. Modify a number and you immediately get the updated probability. Repeat tapping the -/+ buttons to modify the numbers and see how the probability changes accordingly.

- Versatile: With a little bit of ingenuity from you, almost any card-drawing probability you would care about in practice can be calculated. It supports decks with up to 100 cards and combination of up to 3 kinds of cards.

- Clean One-Time Purchase: No ads. No in-app purchases. Cheaper than a pack of card sleeves.

HOW TO USE

Specify
- Number of cards remaining in the deck
- Number of cards you draw from the deck
- Number of card A remaining in the deck
- Number of card A you want to draw

and optionally
- Number of card B remaining in the deck
- Number of card B you want to draw
- Number of card C remaining in the deck
- Number of card C you want to draw

and MTG Probability immediately displays the probability of drawing that many (or more) copies of card A, B and C. You can modify these numbers by tapping the -/+ buttons and see how the probability changes accordingly.

WHY PROBABILITY IS IMPORTANT

Knowing the probabilities cultivates your intuition. Although it is true that most decisions in deck building and game playing are so complex that probability by itself rarely give you the final conclusion, knowing the exact probabilities for various situations makes your intuition more accurate and makes you able to make better comprehensive decisions.
