Being a professional athlete is challenging… especially if you’re trying to follow Jesus. The pressure to perform on the field and to conform to the culture of the game can often feel overwhelming. The constant moving and traveling can be isolating and difficult. One of the greatest needs for the professional baseball player is to have a small community of support who truly understands these challenges.

Our staff is exactly that: we are former professional baseball players helping other players follow Jesus. We have been helping players grow spiritually and relationally for years through mentoring, counseling, Bible study, small groups, mission trips, men’s retreats and more.

UPI is a ministry team of former players that helps other players grow spiritually, embrace a new identity and connect with others in the game.
