App Description

TreeMetrics makes urban forest inventories easy. This app leads you through many of the most important measurements necessary for tree benefit mapping using a bottom-up inventory approach. Metrics include GPS coordinates, reference objects, and plot information for sample inventories (e.g., land use, ground cover). Individual tree metrics include a species selection list with UFORE codes, tree height, DBH, crown measurements, impervious surface, energy savings measures, and tree hazard indicators. Users can take photos of trees within the app. Once entered, the data is emailed to the project facilitator in a CSV file, which can then be analyzed.
