1347 - 1421 AH
Lineage and birth:
He is the owner of the virtue Sheikh Muhammad bin Saleh bin Muhammad bin Suleiman bin Abdul Rahman Al-Uthaymeen from Al-Wahba from Bani Tamim.
He was born on the night of the twenty-seventh of the blessed month of Ramadan in the year 1347 AH in Unaizah - one of the cities of Al-Qassim - in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
His Eminence Sheikh - may God Almighty have mercy on him - is considered one of those well-established in knowledge whom God endowed - with His grace and generosity - with a deep rootedness and a great talent in knowing the evidence and following it, deriving rulings and benefits from the Book and the Sunnah, and exploring the depths of the Arabic language, meanings, syntax and rhetoric.

And because of the great qualities of scholars and their good morals and the combination of knowledge and action, people loved him with great love, and everyone appreciated him with all the appreciation.

He was awarded the King Faisal - may God have mercy on him - the International Award for Service to Islam in 1414 AH, and the reasons given by the selection committee for awarding him the award are as follows:

First: Adorning him with the morals of the virtuous scholars, the most prominent of which are piety, open-heartedness, telling the truth, working for the benefit of Muslims, and advising their elite and the general public.

Second: Many benefited from his knowledge. Teaching, issuing fatwas and authoring.

Third: He delivered useful public lectures in various regions of the Kingdom.

Fourth: His beneficial participation in many Islamic conferences.
Fifth: His following a distinguished method in calling to God with wisdom and good exhortation, and presenting him as a living example of the methodology of the righteous predecessors. Thought and behaviour.
He died - may God have mercy on him - in the city of Jeddah, just before Maghrib, on Wednesday the fifteenth of the month of Shawwal in the year 1421 AH, and he was prayed for in the Sacred Mosque after the Asr prayer on Thursday, then those thousands of worshipers and great crowds accompanied him in impressive scenes, and he was buried in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

And after the Friday prayer of the next day, the funeral prayer was performed in absentia in all cities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

May God have mercy on our Sheikh, the mercy of the righteous, and dwell him in his spacious gardens, and grant him His forgiveness and pleasure, and reward him for what he gave to Islam and Muslims.
