JICA's new agricultural extension tool for promoting “Farming as a Business”!
This game “Fun Fun Farming” is inspired by the Smallholder Horticulture Empowerment and Promotion (SHEP) approach promoted by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) along with the people of African countries.
The SHEP approach, which was launched in Kenya, aims to implement “Farming as Business” with farmers taking the leading role. We hope you’ll try the “Fun Fun Farming” that is practiced by African farmers.
The main character is a farmer in a farming village.
First, choose the main character from four types of farmers. Next, choose one out of four routes.
Two seasons make up one game. Try for a high score (motivation×profit).
At each step of the game, try to think whether you’re choosing the best way. It will help in boosting motivation and profits.
