FishSpot shows lakes, rivers, canals, reservoirs and coastline from OpenStreetMap on a live fishing map. Every spot gets a FishScore from 0 to 100 for the hours ahead, worked out from the weather and from what the water itself offers, and every score comes with its reasons.

How the FishScore works
The score starts from the hour's weather: a falling barometer ahead of a front, a light wind putting a ripple on the water, cloud that softens bright light, the dawn and dusk feeding windows and the moon phase. Then the water adds its own edge: big open water, a place where another river or canal joins, a mapped pier or fishing place, the bank the wind is blowing onto and the season for that kind of water. The biggest factors are listed with the points they added or took away, the bad news as well as the good.

Fishing spots for every kind of angler
Bank and shore fishing, kayak and boat fishing, fly and lure fishing, carp and coarse fishing, bass, trout, pike, zander, perch and catfish, and saltwater fishing spots on the coast and piers. FishSpot speaks 42 languages, and distances, wind, temperature and pressure follow your region's units, or pick metric or imperial in Profile.

Local rules come first
Fishing spots on the map are not permission to fish there. Check the fishing licence, seasons, size limits and access rules that apply where you fish.

No account needed
FishSpot works without signing up. Your location is used to find water and weather near you and is not stored with your account unless you attach it to a catch. Delete your data at any time from Profile.

Premium
The fishing map, forecast, alerts and catch log, including naming the fish in a catch photo, are free. FishSpot Premium adds the 7-day bite planner, batch catch logging from several photos and unlimited Fishing Coach. Subscriptions renew until cancelled, and you can cancel any time in Google Play.
