Yoga can truely be a great way to build strength, mobility and general fitness.

Yoga can be done at home, but especially for the beginner it is important to have clear videos to be sure you are doing the yoga exercises safely. All our workout plans contain videos of all the yoga poses and stretching exercises. Many basic yoga postures feel very familiar because our bodies bend and fold naturally into poses. Mindfully and with conscious breaths, learn beginner yoga poses first. It's a good idea to keep things simple when you're just starting. The yoga poses for beginners that are outlined in this app are valuable enough to keep you occupied for a long time. Then, as you build your practice, you can take on more challenging poses.

Along with stress reduction, flexibility is one of yoga's main perks. Many yoga poses stretch your muscles and improve your range of motion. With time and regular practice, yoga can help increase your flexibility. If your definition of fitness involves the lean muscles of a toned yoga body, the more strenuous versions of yoga that emphasize strength-building poses can get you there.
More advanced styles of yoga, like power yoga and Ashtanga will work your muscles more than gentler styles. Hatha yoga is typically slower but can also be great for building strength.
