Active Card, community economy program of the Municipality of Córdoba.
Activa was born at the beginning of 2021, created by Mayor Martín Llaryora and its primary objective is to reactivate consumption in neighborhood businesses in the city of Córdoba.
Quickly, this tool became the most important community economy program in history, strengthening the activity of nearby businesses, helping to generate employment and local production.
At the same time, Activa is the first Latin American public initiative to collaboratively involve the State, businesses, ethical banking -with the support of Bancor and Mastercard- and third sector organizations in an economy with a common goal in which everyone wins .
This municipal program finances triple impact socio-productive projects developed by third sector organizations. An evaluation committee made up of benchmarks from universities, the entrepreneurial world and third sector organizations receives the applications.
The selected socio-productive projects receive the necessary financing that comes from the Solidarity Fund of Tarjeta Activa, contributed by the participating businesses.
In this way, the virtuous circle of Tarjeta Activa closes, in an economy in which everyone wins, the people of Cordoba win.
