Augmented Reality Escape Room
Welcome to Major Moon - the game that combines escape room feeling, augmented reality and learning experience. As Major Moon, it is up to you to solve the mystery of your cousin Mia and the fake news about the robot conspiracy.
With the help of an AI, you “beam” yourself into Mia’s apartment and look for clues about the robot conspiracy. In escape room style you collect the clues, try to combine them and decipher them.
What is unique about Major Moon is the combination of game and learning experience on the topics of conspiracy theories, fake news and disinformation as well as big data and digitalization in the world of work.
The game offers these learning experiences in three lengths: Short (20 min), Medium (40 min) and Long (60 min).
You live and work on the moon. One day you receive a message from your aunt that your cousin Mia has disappeared. She is terribly worried and asks for your help. From the moon!? No problem! With new technology and your moon AI, you travel virtually to Mia's apartment as Major Moon and start looking for clues. Protecting Mia's privacy isn't that important to you - after all, you want to find her.
You gain access to their home and work computers. You can find out a lot about her life through her fitness watch, her game console and her smart refrigerator. Was Mia on the trail of a conspiracy and therefore falling out with her family? Or is she so overworked that she needs a break?
In all three experiences you get closer to the solution and delve deep into Mia's private life. All you need are the printable marker images and a detective instinct.
The topics of conspiracy theory, big data and digitalization in the world of work create current connections to the reality of life and also provide playful learning experiences.
