The EBMX App allows you to custom tune your EBMX ASI controller 60v/72v battery
The EBMX App allows you to custom tune your EBMX ASI controller.
Simply connect your EBMX ASI Controller via Bluetooth to your smart phone and follow the set-up process.
Smart Setup allows you to select from 4 pre-set battery types (52v Bypass; 60v Bypass; 60v High Power; 72v High Power) and easily configures over 11 battery parameters to optimise performance with just one click.
Key adjustments and calibration options available are:
Motor Power adjustments – Total Power (kW) and Motor Current (Phase Amps)
Gear Ratio - pre-set calculations based on your chosen sprocket size (42T, 48T, 52T, 54T, 55T, 58T, 60T, 64T, 66T, 68T) and wheel+tyre total diameter
Motor Auto-Calibration – measures inductance, resistance, rated RPM and calibrates hall sensor offset angle
Throttle Adjustments – positive twist and throttle release reaction time in milliseconds, throttle deadband
Throttle Auto-Calibration - new/old Surron, Domino, Magura, Hirschmann (basically any 0-5v Hall-Effect or 5k ohms linear POT throttle)
Regen/Motor Brake adjustments - enabled/disabled, start speed (Km/h), torque intensity, start (ramping up) and stop (release) in milliseconds
Speed Limit settings – Power mode level 1 – adjust between 20-70 Km/h
Motor Field Weaking (Top Speed) adjustments – increases motor speed above rating at expensive of reduced torque. Cons: it also increases motor temperature
Motor Over Temperature Protection and limit adjustments
Virtual Freewheel parameter (enable/disable) - induces a very small current into the motor and electronically removes motor drag so bike rolls freely like a regular MTB.
Troubleshooting page to show error info, battery voltage, controller temperature, motor temperature, motor hall sensors output
Custom feature to disable the annoying ‘Instantaneous Phase Over Current Error’ protection.
Note this app will only work with ASI BAC 8000 and BAC 4000 controllers purchased and tuned by EBMX approved dealers.
