Drawing Pad Pro is a full drawing app and a coloring book in one. Sketch and paint with real brushes and layers, or turn any photo into line art and color it in, on a phone or tablet, with a finger or a stylus.

MAIN FEATURES

■ Brushes that feel right
Pen, pencil, marker, airbrush and smudge, plus hard and soft erasers, all free. Size, opacity and stabilizer (0–10) are kept per brush, and the stabilizer smooths even finger-drawn curves. Lines follow the pressure of a pressure-sensitive stylus; with a finger, fast strokes get thinner and slow ones thicker.

■ Layers
Keep line art and color apart and fix a stray color without touching your lines. Add, delete, duplicate, reorder by dragging, hide, set opacity, merge down, flatten and lock, with up to 5 layers free. A photo underlay doesn't count toward the limit.

■ Fill that stays inside the lines
Set the tolerance and choose what the fill looks at: all layers, this layer or the line art. "Close gaps" (0–5) stops color leaking through small breaks, and "Spread under lines" (0–4) leaves no white fringe. With a brush, "Stay inside the lines" keeps paint within the line art, and "Lock alpha" repaints only what's there.

■ Photo to coloring page
Edges are found from brightness and color, so even a red and green border of equal brightness becomes a line. Adjust detail, line thickness and "Remove small lines" with a live preview, then color it on a new canvas. The lines get their own layer, so fill works against them. Print the lines alone, too.

■ Trace a photo and coloring pages
Put a faint photo under the canvas and trace it. Mandala and stained glass pages are made on your device, and "Show more" adds new designs.

■ Drawing helpers
Left-right symmetry with a movable axis, straight lines, and draw-and-hold to turn a rough line or circle into a clean one. Lasso select to copy or cut to a new layer. Transform layers, and use a grid, mirror view or a reference image.

■ Gestures and stylus
Long-press for the eyedropper. Two-finger tap to undo, three to redo, up to 200 steps. With "Draw only with a stylus", fingers move the canvas and palm touches are ignored.

■ Never lose your work
Saved after every stroke. The trash keeps deleted drawings for 30 days, and a .zip backup moves everything to a new phone.

■ Gallery and export
Folders, search and sort. Export PNG, JPG, transparent PNG or line art only, then save, share or print. Canvases go up to 2048 px.
