The successful trajectory of the retail trade company Supermercados Dalben began in mid-1974, in the city of Campinas, in the interior of São Paulo. Before its inauguration, Mr. José Dalben and his sons owned a small site in the region and marketed fruits and vegetables produced by them in the vicinity of their property.

Noting the expansion of sales and recognition for the quality of products sold, the family decided to move to the Taquaral neighborhood in this same city and inaugurate a small retail store with 400m2.

After years of hard work and effort (and after the death of Mr. José Dalben in 1990), the store was gradually renovated and enlarged and now has a total area of ​​13,000m2. In 2007, the company opened its first branch with 11.800m2 in the district of Barão Geraldo, near Campinas. And seven years later, in 2014, it inaugurated its second branch in the Mansões Santo Antônio neighborhood with 12,100m2. Another important milestone was the modernization and standardization of the visual communication of the three units in 2015.

In 2019, the company will further expand its business and a new network store will be installed in the city of Paulínia.

Nowadays, our company is considered medium sized, counts on average twenty checkouts per store and has approximately 970 employees. It directly serves end-users and corporate customers with more than 30,000 types of SKUs (Stock Keeping Units). In addition, it offers its own services and outsourced, such as bakery, rostisseria, fishmongers, cold cuts and dairy, hortifruti, butcher, restaurant, cafeteria, grocery store, bazaar, cellar, emporium, pharmacy, ATMs, lottery, laundry, cell phone assistance, key ring, among others.
