Follow the 2026 Minas Gerais State Championship in real time.

Follow all the matches of the 2026 Minas Gerais State Football Championship, all the information in real time, games, play-by-play, results, top scorers, matches and more, all for free.

The 12 teams are divided into three groups of four teams, playing a single round-robin, facing only opponents from the other groups. The top team from each group and the best second-placed team qualify for the Semifinals. The two worst clubs in the overall standings are relegated. In case of a tie in points, the tie-breaking criteria in the group stage are:

1) most wins;

2) best goal difference;

3) most goals scored;

4) fewest red cards;

5) fewest yellow cards;

6) drawing of lots.

The Semifinals and Final will be played in a knockout system with two-legged matches. In case of a tie in points, the tie-breaking criteria are:

1) best goal difference in the head-to-head;

2) Penalty shootout. The clubs ranked 5th through 8th in the overall standings of the First Phase compete for the Inconfidência Trophy, following the same format as the championship finals.
