Meu Ônibus SP

Shows the location of all buses on their common routes

Designed for those who use public buses in the city of São Paulo, this app shows the location of vehicles on their usual routes.

It's ideal for those who ALREADY KNOW the bus lines in São Paulo and only want to know the location of the buses on the lines that serve their route. IT IS NOT AN APP FOR FINDING THE BEST ROUTE OR LINES. It's for those who already know the bus options for their commutes and want to see, in real time, where the vehicles are at that moment.

Through this app, you indicate the line(s) that serve your routine route and, whenever needed, check the number of buses available on the route at that moment and where each one is located.

For example, with this visual information, you can decide to wait for another bus that's coming right behind instead of getting on the first crowded one.

If you're going to meet someone in a particular bus, you can tap the icons and find out which one the person is in.

You can register several routine routes, giving each one a name. After registering a route, simply tap on it to see the map and available buses. For example, there might be 4 buses in circulation, 2 from each line you indicated as useful.

Each line will be shown in a different color. You can save up to 5 lines that serve you for the same route.

The information is provided by SPTrans's "OLHO VIVO" system. Unfortunately, there are several user reports of delayed and faulty information. We have found that this is indeed due to a failure in the SPTrans system. Even so, it's better than not having the information at all.

Information about lines and locations is provided by the SPTrans system in São Paulo. The identification of buses, lines, current position, route, and any other information related to transportation is provided by SPTrans through authorized electronic access.

THIS APPLICATION IS NOT DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY LINKED TO SPTrans. It was not produced by a company with a contract or any other affiliation.

Access is granted using an authorization (key) obtained through the SPTrans website (https://www.sptrans.com.br/), which is the official information site.

VPN: We have received reports of operational problems when the device uses a VPN. This appears to be a restriction imposed by SPTrans. If this happens to you, check if your VPN program has the option to configure split tunneling. If it does, exclude Meu Ônibus SP from the VPN.
