Cria Certo assists rural producers and technicians in making decisions regarding animal reproduction.
Through simulations, you can get answers to questions like:
- What is the amount to be paid by a bull breeder?
- What bull-cow ratio results in the best cost / benefit ratio?
- Which is better from the economic point of view: artificial insemination, with its variants, or natural mounts?
This application brings together four simulators with the most relevant breeding methods currently available: natural mating, artificial insemination at fixed time (IATF) plus bull feeding, two fixed-time inseminations plus bull-feeding and three fixed-time inseminations. Over the course of 15 years, reproductive practices in livestock have changed. In 2003, 5% of the herd was inseminated, today the index is at 10%, with 80% in IATF.
