CVM's School Financial Calculator - Securities Commission

The Investor's Calculator is a school financial calculator, available free of charge. It was developed and is distributed by the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM).

Once installed on the mobile device, its use does not depend on an Internet connection.

With the Investor Calculator, you can:

. perform arithmetic operations;

. simulate financial operations, using the algebraic method;

. simulate financial operations such as: capitalization, monetary restatement, financing, application, calculation of PU (unit price) of some financial instruments, and compound rational discount, using financial functions (PMT, VP, VF, n, i), following universal convention incoming and outgoing cash flows;

. compute the Internal Rate of Return and the Net Present Value of non-homogeneous cash flows;

. simulate financing using the Price (French amortization system) and SAC (Constant Amortization System) methods, making it possible to view, for each installment: the periodic payment amount, the interest on the installment, the amortization and the outstanding balance;

. compute summations and carry out domestic budgets (income and expenses, grouped by category);

. compute factor products (for example, to calculate successive additions or discounts, price update indices, etc.).
