It is September 19, 1994 when it airs the first episode of Coffee People, a local television window dedicated to information and entertainment.
But the project was born from a collaboration between Giornale del Popolo and Telecampione, it is expected to grow and to enter the homes of Ticino as a source of effective and empowered local information.
The company headed by Filippo Lombardi called the TeleTicino in 1996, while maintaining the confidentiality that still distinguishes it passes from a craft to a model
professional structure that diversifies their contents into information, analysis and entertainment.
In 1999 TeleTicino receives the Swiss concession to operate just as broadcaster.
The turning point is revealed in 2007, when TeleTicino acquisisceTicinonews.ch and Radio3i to become part of TI Media Holding Ltd., alongside Corriere del Ticino and Giornale del Popolo.
