E-learning project at the ZHAW LSFM for the basic education in chemistry

The app "3D-Chemie" was developed in cooperation between the ICBT and the IAS (www.zhaw.ch/lsfm) and funded by the ZHAW through funding for e-learning.

The app is intended to train and promote the students' three-dimensional imagination for molecular structures, since the three-dimensional structure of molecular compounds often explains or determines behavior or function. The students should also be able to visualize chemical and biological structures independent of specific (and expensive) software. In addition, new structures can be easily grasped and communicated by lecturers.
