Нютаг

Messenger in Buryat: chats, calls, and communities of fellow countrymen.

Nyutag: a messenger for Buryats and for everyone who values their native language. Chats, calls, and communities of fellow Buryat people, all in Buryat.

Buryad Helen
• The entire interface is in Buryat: chats, menus, settings, and notifications. Switch between languages with a single tap; Russian and English are also available.
• Designed for the Buryat community: fellow Buryat people from Ulan-Ude, Aga, Ust-Orda, and anywhere in the world gather in one place.
• Open to other languages. If your language isn't available in the major messengers, please contact us: we'll add the languages of minority peoples in Russia and other countries.

Features
• Personal chats and groups with end-to-end encryption. The server stores only encrypted messages and cannot read them.
• One-on-one and group audio and video calls. Incoming calls are processed as normal calls, even if the app is closed.
• Communities: open and closed, with a directory where you can find your community, club, or class.
• You find friends: grant access to your contacts, and those already there will appear in the "Contacts in Nyutag" section. Numbers are verified on the server and are not saved.
• Invite a friend via a link or QR code.

How it works
Nyutag is built on the open Matrix protocol and the Element X code. It has its own server, no ads, analytics, or trackers. Phone numbers and email addresses are stored on the server as a hash: it recognizes matches but does not know the numbers themselves.

To get started, you need your name, phone number, email address, and password. A confirmation code is sent to your email.
