App Description
Chicken Marathon โ plan your weave calculate your yarn and draft with confidence
Chicken Marathon is a drafting table ๐ for the handweaver. Set your threading, tie up the treadles, choose a treadling, and watch ๐ the cloth form โ the drawdown recomputes the moment you change a grid, so you see exactly what the loom will weave before you warp a single end.
Sixteen ready drafts come loaded across the classic structures โ plain and basket, twills and herringbone, point and overshot, huck and waffle lace โ grouped on shelves you can browse, favorite, and open into full detail. Each draft carries its shafts, treadles, ends and sett, its threading, tie-up and treadling grids, and a yarn-and-warp panel that turns finished width, length, sett and take-up into total ๐ฏ ends, warp length, weft yardage and yarn weight in grams.
Keep the drafts you are working on in the loom queue, photograph the finished cloth to remember how a draft wove up, and read your stats โ drafts by structure, shafts in use, and the days you spent at the loom. A weave-structure reference explains each interlacement and drops it straight into the Studio as a starting point.
Everything runs on the device ๐ฑ, offline ๐ด, with nothing to set up. Just open Chicken Marathon and start ๐ drafting.
