This free app – developed for Pick n Pay Medical Scheme members only.

This app brings you convenient and easy access to emergency and key contact details, information regarding your policy, statements, benefits, medical savings balances and more.

Use the “Membership” menu to effortlessly check your membership profile with the Medical Scheme, contribution payments. The “Claims” will display claims history, Including rejection reasons, where applicable. If struggling to find a particular clam, refine your search by using the filter function provided.

Under “Pre-Authorisation”, you can view your historic hospital pre-authorisations.

Your app also serves as a virtual membership card if you’ve forgotten to bring it along to your doctor or pharmacy. Tapping the card to flip the card or download the card, that can be used while you wait for your actual card to arrive.

Benefits made easy – Find benefits information applicable to your option. Once you’ve selected a particular category, you can also check your benefits usage (used and available) against relevant limits where applicable.

Medicine Lookup – seeing a new doctor or specialist and you’ve forgotten which medicines you’ve used? Consult your app for a list of medicines you’ve used and when they were dispensed.

Find a Provider – Search for health care providers to find doctors, dentists, or optometrists, near to you if applicable to your Medical Scheme option. Note that you can save money and limit your out – of – pocket expenses by using network providers.

Need Documents – Easily and conveniently request copies of important documents such as tax certificates, Proof of membership and claims statements to be e-mail without having to call.
