In this idle game, the player’s goal is to take over the world by infecting the world’s population through creating an increasingly deadly viral infection. The game operates on mutation points, which the player earns by pressing a button to upgrade their virus or bacteria. Over time, these upgrades can be automated, allowing points to accumulate in the background. However, there is a challenge as humans can detect and develop cures for the virus or bacteria, potentially ruining the player’s efforts.
To keep the game engaging, there’s a restart mechanic that allows players to start over with bonuses like higher infectiousness or a reduced cure rate. Players check in daily to ensure their strain isn’t cured while utilizing a skill tree to make strategic upgrades. Some upgrades improve the strain’s ability to avoid detection, extending the time before a cure is developed, while others increase its infectiousness or mortality, each with trade-offs.
