3D Visualization of the biological structures of the mussel and the ascaris.
The application is intended for students from secondary school to higher education, as well as for anyone curious about the subject. Currently, we present the mussel and the ascaris (cell and earthworm in another application).
The principle is to visualize biological structures in space and learn to identify the different parts using 3D and dropdown menus. The main benefit is bridging the gap between theory (the 3D object) and practical observations (real histology specimens). Users can leverage the 3D structures to understand how they are organized, compared to the 2D representations typically provided in classes and textbooks. The data align perfectly with the curriculum typically taught in this field.
The application also provides explanatory texts for the different structures, available in both French and English.
