App for VereinOnline.org users and other club friends

Within the DSGVO, many clubs are asking themselves whether messenger services / apps like WhatsApp can still be used in the club. Mostly the data is stored at the services in other countries and there is often no control what happens to personal data of the members. Also, many terms of use prohibit use in non-private environments. In addition, a duplicate maintenance of the member data in these apps is necessary.

Therefore we provide the "VereinOnline-App" for Android and iOS. The VereinOnline-App allows the use of existing VereinOnline groups for communication with the members. There is no double membership required. All data and all messages are thus protected in the VereinOnline system.

Furthermore, the app users can invite their own friends (members of the VereinOnline-Verein as well as external persons) and network. Invitees must first accept the invitation before sending messages to these friends. Users can create their own groups from their own friends, through which all group members can exchange messages.
IMPORTANT: External friends do not have access to internal club data (member data, etc.).

The VereinOnline App can be used independently of the VereinOnline account. A use without VereinOnline access or even several VereinOnline accounts is possible. When logging in the VereinOnline App is a separate login, as this must be clear across all clubs. Each user therefore gets their own app login, which corresponds to the e-mail address. The easiest way to set up the app login is via "VereinOnline / My profile", the app is also connected to this club right away. Alternatively, a login is also possible in the app.
