Communities and organizations create step- and distance-based wellness challenges (e.g., “Walk 50 km this month” or “10,000 steps/day for 7 days”). Users who choose to participate can connect Health Connect to automatically import their activity totals so the app can show personal progress, calculate streaks, and validate challenge completion. Health Connect access is optional and only enabled after the user joins a wellness challenge and consents.
