AhoTTS

AhoTTS - A Basque, Catalan, Galician and Spanish Text-to-Speech Synthesiser.

AhoTTS is a TTS (Text to Speech) system developed by the Aholab research group of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). AhoTTS is installed as a speech synthesis engine on Android devices, and any application can use it to read screen text with an Artificial Intelligence–based synthetic voice: in Basque, Spanish, Catalan and Galician.

The AhoTTS application has an easy-to-use interface where users can enter texts and listen to them directly. It also offers advanced features such as shortcuts to frequently used sentences and a history of synthesized sentences.

To use AhoTTS as the default synthesis engine on your Android device, go to:
Settings > Language & input > Text-to-speech output, and select AhoTTS.
From there you can choose the language and speech rate. In the synthesis engine settings, you can listen to and download voices for each language. Personalized voices from the AhoMyTTS platform (https://aholab.ehu.eus/ahomytts) can also be used through this app.
