What Alecto AI does？
- Locate images and videos across social and streaming platforms that appear to contain your face.
- Flag content that is unauthorized or appears manipulated (e.g., deepfakes).
- Preserve verifiable evidence and help you submit Take-It-Down requests to platforms.
- Connect you with NGOs and legal resources for additional support.
How it works？
- Register & verify — Create an account with your email and OTP. Complete a one-time live-person (liveness) check during which we capture a single frontal photo and generate a secure face embedding used only for matching.
- Provide leads — Enter clues such as image URLs, offender account names, or hashtags.
- Auto-collect & match — We crawl publicly available media based on those leads and compare results to your face embedding.
- Review & confirm — Suspected matches are shown to you for review. You must explicitly approve any takedown request.
- Submit & follow up — We batch confirmed requests to partner platforms and pursue removal; monitor progress in-app.
- Support — Find NGO and legal support options via the app.
Privacy & security
- Face images and embeddings are used solely for matching and to ensure only you can access your search results.
