In microbiology we study about microorganisms. Microorganisms are tiny living organisms often, they are very small to be seen with the naked eye. These microscopic organisms include bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoa, and algae. In microbiology we study their structure, function, growth, metabolism, and how they interact with their environment, including other living organisms.

Here are some key areas of Microbiology :

Bacteriology: In this area we study about bacteria. They are single-celled organisms and can be found in various environments, from soil to water to the human body. Bacteria helps in nutrient cycling, fermentation, and pathogenesis.


Virology: Here we focuses on viruses. viruses are non-living entities that needs a host cell to reproduce. They can infect all forms of life, including animals, plants, and bacteria (bacteriophages).

Mycology: In Mycology we research about fungi. Fungi is a diverse group of organisms that includes yeasts, molds, and mushrooms. Fungi are important for their roles in decomposition, symbiotic relationships with plants, and as sources of antibiotics and other pharmaceuticals.
