App Description

Symmetry Blue brings physical access to your mobile device.

Simply open the app and present it to any one of AMAG's Symmetry Blue Physical Access Readers, and your phone will securely authenticate as if it were a proximity card. AMAG aims to provide the most convenient and user friendly experience when it comes to secure access via mobile device with the Symmetry Blue app and readers.

Enrollment of smart phones within the Symmetry system is straightforward and does not require a license, separate portal, or third party subscription. All users must do is download the app, enroll it in their system, and they are ready to begin using their mobile device to gain access.

25th February 2020:

Unfortunately, the AMAG Symmetry Blue mobile app was recently removed from the Google Play store.

Apps that were already installed on phones will continue to work -however they will no longer receive automatic updates from the store.

In order to resolve this, please delete the existing version of the app from your phone before downloading and re-installing this version.

IMPORTANT: Please contact your access control administrator to update your credential within the Access Control System, in order to regain door access.

This can be achieved by either:

· Presenting your mobile device at a Symmetry Blue encoder attached to a Symmetry access control client
· Updating the Card holder record in the Access Control System with the updated card number found in the mobile app “View Device ID” menu.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused and will endeavour to avoid this from happening again.
