The Surgical Cognitive Simulation App

Surgical Cognitive Simulation is an evidence based, structured, cognitive technique using all your senses to re-create a surgical procedure in your mind It's a technique that has been used by elite sports people for years. It's a free and accessible internal simulator technique available whenever and wherever you like.

Uttam Shiralkar, a dual trained surgeon and psychiatrist, has been working on SCS over the last two decades. With the help of experts in education and technology, he has created a programme for surgeons at every level. The programme teaches surgeons the techniques necessary to develop their own surgical cognitive simulations for all types of surgery, making training more efficient and effective and ensuring safer practice.

This Surgical Cognitive Simulation App supports this programme allowing users to learn the techniques required to make their own personal surgical cognitive simulator in their own time.
