Hepatitis C Training

Hepatitis C Training is an educational app to help users better understand Hep C

A companion for Hepatitis C education and care, this app presents information relevant to a typical patient care experience, from diagnosis with Hep C through treatment and even after treatment is completed. HIV coinfection is also addressed. Presented as a 5-unit series of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) with Answers, a quiz follows the FAQ and bars illustrate progress through each unit. The app is designed to help users better understand the clinical condition of Hepatitis C, and enable better-informed conversations between app users and health care providers. Part of a wider project entitled, “Connecticut Quantification, Evaluation, and Response: HIV/HCV Elimination in Persons of Color” (ConnQuER HepC), this app is not intended to replace professional care.
