Audio Recording & Import

Voice Recorder: Records audio with live waveform visualization and a timer.
Background Recording: Continues recording via a foreground service notification when the app is backgrounded or the screen is locked.
Bookmarks: Marks specific timestamps during recording.
File Import: Imports local audio (MP3, WAV, M4A) and video (MP4, MOV) files.
Transcription & Audio Sync

Speech-to-Text: Converts audio and video files into text transcripts using Gemini API.
Speaker Labeling: Identifies and separates different speakers in the transcript.
Audio-Text Sync: Tapping a sentence in the transcript plays the corresponding audio segment.
Summarization & Action Items

Summaries: Generates structured summaries and key takeaways of the transcript.
Action Items: Extracts tasks discussed in the audio and displays them in a checklist.
Mind Maps: Displays a node diagram showing the structure of meeting topics.
Interaction & Export

AI Chat: Allows querying the transcript content using a chat interface.

Permissions & Data Handling

Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Required to record audio.
Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE): Required to prevent the system from terminating the recording process in the background.
Data Processing: Transmits audio/video files to the Gemini API over HTTPS for processing.
