We are at the highest point, reachable by car, of Monte Morello on the SP130 called "Panoramica dei Colli Alti" at km 6 + 500 or Piazzale Leonardo da Vinci. From this point the Panorama allows you to enjoy a spectacular view of the center of Florence and also of most of Tuscany. To report the magic of the Sunset, especially in Spring and Autumn, and during the Winter when the clear sky often gives us the view of the Island of Gorgona! Also from here you can admire the Apuan Alps, the Abetone / Cimone area but also Siena, Volterra and Monte Amiata further south. To reach us from Florence, take Via Bolognese (P.za Liberta 'area) and continue north for about 10 km, as soon as you pass Montorsoli, turn left towards Monte Morello / Panoramica dei Colli Alti and continue up to km 6+ 500 or Piazzale Leonardo da Vinci. About 20 minutes. From Sesto Fiorentino, Calenzano, Prato (A1 - A11 motorway, Sesto F.no exit) proceed in the direction of Colonnata and from here take the SP130 called "panoramic of the High Hills" continue for about 9km up to km 6 + 500 or Piazzale Leonardo da Vinci. About 15 minutes. From Mugello take the Via Bolognese towards the south towards Vaglia / Firenze, as soon as you arrive in Pratolino, turn right into Via dell'Uccellatoio in front of Bar Zocchi (narrow uphill road), continue along this Via for 1km as soon as you arrive at the intersection with the SP130 called "Panoramica dei Colli Alti", turn right and continue for 5km up to km 6 + 500 or Piazzale Leonardo da Vinci. About 30 minutes.
