Safety at Sea is a linking tool to help securing the maritime space in Kenya.

Safety at Sea is an innovative smartphone application that connects the cooperative stakeholders such as the coastal community to the law enforcer agency in order to improve the security and safety of the maritime domain alongside the Kenyan coast. This application allows the authorized end users to report any suspicious activity or Search And Rescue / Maritime Pollution events to the Joint Operations Centre manned by the Kenyan Coast Guard in Mombasa. This direct link provides through KCGS, an ideal and efficient means to be in touch with most of the maritime agencies in charge of monitoring and secure the maritime space of the country.

The application can also be used to alert the beach management communities from the Joint Operations Centre on safety and maritime security issues pertinent to their areas within the Kenyan coast.
